The Desert Flowers' mission: Our mission is to honor our lineage of teachers, inspire our sacred feminine form, and encourage a supporting community among all dancers.

The Desert Flowers Dance Troupe’s unabridged mission statement is threefold:

1) to honor our lineage of teachers by preserving the essence of belly dance through our interpretations of the dance,
2) inspire our sacred feminine form by promoting a positive awareness of the dance and celebrating diversity through fun, enthusiastic, passionate, emotional, and theatrical performances, and
3) encourage a supporting community among all dancers—to be body positive and assist each other in issues of health, fitness, and self-esteem.
